I have completed many projects that I never new I could. At the beginning of class I rated myself as in the middle of the scale for Tec savvy. I was completely wrong. I use basic technology in my everyday life but once I started on projects I realized I really new very little about technology. After completing the class I now have a better understanding of how technology works, and how broad technology is. I believe that if we incorporate technology in our classrooms students will have a desire to learn more. I as a future teacher want my students to use technology as much as they can. I believe there is so much information available to our learners if only they new how to access it. As teachers I think it is important to teach students how to use technology as a positive way of learning.

Progress

After compleating some of my projects, new ideas have sparked my mind for possible projects in my classroom. I think the newspaper article would be a great way for students to share about themselves and get to know others in the class. This would be a great begining of the year project. As a future teacher I also think using the newspaper article would be a great way in letting parents know what we have been doing in the classroom, as well as sharing upcoming events and projects. I think that every month I will use the newspaper to send out to my students papernts. This is a good way to comunicate with them. the other project I think will be useful is my web cite. This is another great way to communicate with students posting assignments and grades. I think for many people this would be a quick, great way to access important information from home and work. Many parents would be able to go online to see how there student is progressing in the classroom. Using Education technology is another way to transport information from student to teacher, student to student and from teacher to parents.

Education tec

Ed Tec
Over the years technology has become extremely advanced and used in everyday life modern. In order for one to function in society today they must have a basis for how to use technology. I believe it is very important to incorporate technology in the classrooms today. Technology lets students expand their resources for knowledge. Although technology can be used very effectively to enhance the learning process, I think students need to be able to think on there own as well not having their computer do it all for them. The problem with requiring students to use technology is the simple fact that not all students have available resources to it. Not every student has a computer at home with internet available to them. When used correctly technology can be very helpful to assist teachers and students. As a future teacher I will use technology to give my students a visual of the points I’m trying to get across to them. Today parents can keep better tabs on the progress their child is making in the classroom through websites provided by the schools to view grades, assignments and attendance at all times for their child. These resources are made possible through technology. In the advanced world we live in students will be left behind in the world if they do not have an understanding for technology. As a future teacher I’m excited to incorporate technology into my classroom.
